A dwelling minimal in appearance but which has been inspired by the timeless form of the traditional house in the Irish landscape. The house maximises window openings on its southerly aspects in order to make use of solar gains whilst reducing openings on north facing facades to reduce heat loss. Solar hot water panels and heat recovery and ventilation systems were also utilised in this dwelling.
