  • This replacement dwelling was in a stunning but challenging location at the foot of the Mournes. The site was long and narrow and was restricted in scale due to neighbouring dwellings and by being in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), further limitations were imposed regarding design features and materials.

The final design managed to incorporate fully our client's brief for a spacious and light filled 4 bedroom family home that was to be contemporary yet sympathetic to its surroundings, whilst maximizing its unique setting and dual aspect views overlooking the sea and the Mourne Mountains.
