This conversion of a vernacular building into a private dwelling completes and enhances a charming courtyard of previously converted stables. Using brickwork and stone salvaged from the original structure this split level building features a double height open plan living, dining and kitchen area with overlooking gallery.



We were very happy with the great services provided by David Maxwell Chartered Architect who has delivered a contemporary and unique refurbishment of an old farm building which has enhanced the entire development. We would have no hesitation in recommending this practice to anyone.
